Since taking over the Goldsmith Gallery three years ago, we have been commissioned to create many beautiful custom designs. This is nothing new to our design team of Kaye, Owen, and Ada- with 73 years of combined experience in fine jewelry.

 Whether you have diamonds and gems that need new settings or you are looking for an entirely new piece: ring, necklace, earrings, or bracelet- We can create something original and special to your specifications.

Here is the process to have a jewelry piece custom made:

The initial consultation includes telling us your wishes and ideas, and looking at jewelry in our showroom and catalogs. This results in some preliminary sketches.

Next we draw more refined sketches in full color and quote an estimate of what the price of the materials and labor will be. If you have old unusable gold, the value can be applied as a payment on the new piece. Our prices are very reasonable. At this stage, we ask for a deposit. Next we hand-carve a wax model and call you to come in again to approve the wax to make sure the dimensions and style work for you. Then we cast the ring or jewelry piece in your choice of yellow gold, white gold or platinum. The new original is hand finished to perfection and the stones are set.  This process from start to finish takes about three to four weeks. We are proud to say that every person we have designed jewelry for has been extremely happy with their new jewelry piece.
